This wonderful Zin from 40 year old vines has aromas of Blood orange, Bing cherries,  green plum, and a hint of cocoa. On the palate you get plum, blood orange and pink peppercorn, with just the right touch of medium toast French oak. It has a deep crimson color. Well balanced with bright acidity to keep it juicy and tasty through the long finish. It will pair perfectly with sesame crusted rare Ahi tuna.

Orange blossom honey, grapefruit and pineapple. Pairs with a halibut steak topped with pineapple chutney.

2009 Reyes Winery Signature Estate Bottled Syrah, Sierra Pelona Valley Appellation

Our 2009 Syrah won two silver medals, one at the LA Int’l Wine and Spirits Competition and one in the Long Beach Grand Cru.  This wine is a deep dark color with luscious aromas of jasmine, blueberries and hints of pepper. This wine is creamy and gentle on the palate and sure to become a recurring favorite.

2009 Reyes Winery Signature Estate Bottled Cabernet Sauvignon, Sierra Pelona Valley Appellation

This gold medal winner and “Best of Class” winner 2009  Cabernet Sauvignon boast extraordinary character with depth and poise. Influenced by the sophistication and character of Bordeaux’s wines, Reyes Winery Signature Cabernet Sauvignon showcases how conscientious attention to detail in vineyard management in our  Sierra Pelona Valley Appellation’s unique micro-climate results in hearty grapes with deep color and intense flavors.

Our 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon is our second “Estate Bottled” vintage. It won a silver medal  in the LA Int’l Wine and Spirits Competition 2012 and a Bronze in Orange County Competition.   This wine has been as well received as the prior vintage. This velvety and elegant wine has light to medium tannins and a very distinct Cabernet aroma. It is well rounded with excellent balance and intensity in the mid palate and a lingering finish. Replete with ripe sweet fruit flavors of black cherries, raspberries, blackberries, and a harmonious slightly nutty taste.

Our 2010 Estate Bottled Syrah is full-bodied, deep dark red, it has aromas of black raspberries, blackberries, plum, dark chocolate, black pepper and earth.  This wine has won two medals, a silver in LA Int’l Wine and Spirits Competition 2012 and a silver in San Francisco. It is well balanced and has the roundness of a mature wine with well-integrated soft tannins and complexity. Black fruit, toasted oak, and pepper flavors with notes of dark chocolate come together seamlessly on the lengthy smooth finish of this wine.

Our 2010 Estate Bottled Merlot is a smooth Medium-bodied wine with a flavor true to its grape origin and the aromas of black cherries. This wine won three medals, silver in 2012 Orange County Competition, a silver in the 2012 Long Beach Grand Cru, and a bronze in LA Int’l Wine and Spirits Competition. This wine is most notable for its attractive lingering bright fruit flavors of berries, cherries, plums, and a touch of cinnamon and toasted oak. This wine was kept in French oak barrels for 18 months, which helped it develop its finecharacter and complexity. This well structured wine has approachable tannins and finishes with a rich fruit character of supreme elegance and balance.

Reyes Winery Estate Bottled Agua Dulce Delight, Sierra Pelona Valley Appellation

A unique blend of award winning wines was set aside at Reyes Winery to create this complex full bodied old-world style Port.  This wine has won a silver medal at the LA Intl Wine and Spirits Competition 2012 and a bronze at the Long Beach Grand Cru 2012. The blend was only slightly filtered to preserve the integrity of the wine and enhance bottle aging. This wine is black cherry in color and very intense with rich and complex aromas of dark berries, chocolate, caramel, black pepper and anise, which give it a very special elegance.  Its rich spices and fruit notes are derived from an evolution through oxidation in French oak barrels and has a lengthy and elegant Port finish.

Reyes Winery Estate Bottled White Delight Sierra Pelona Valley Appellation

This unique gracefully scented and radiant dessert wine multi award winner contains a blend of Chardonnay, Muscat Blanc and old vine dry-farmed Trebbiano grapes.  This wine won a silver medal in the 2012 Long Beach Grand Cru. The aromatics are as stunning as the palate itself, its first impressions are beautifully alluring, with scents of Brandy and orange.  The flavors are pure and redolent of liquid butterscotch, white peach, citrus, Seckel pear, and Crème Brule.  This is a delicate light-bodied wine with a polished acidity that provides the strong structure of this beauty. The long and spirited finish creates a memorable tasting experience that can’t be satisfied with just a single sip. This wine really is an exceptional, intense and succulent nectar. Drinks beautifully now but has the power, fruit and structure to drink very well in a few more years.
